A graduate of Parson’s School of Design where she studied graphic design and advertising, Carmen Goldberg is photographer, a fine arts artist and web
designer. As a photographer she chooses to create photography of enticing
soothing, beautiful, peaceful landscapes and settings of nature, architecture
and objects of every day living. As an artist Carmen paints in charcoal,
oil based pastels, lead and india ink. She loves to intertwine photography with art to create digitized art photography. Feeling that a painter is like a doctor who is always learning his/her craft she continues to study art with Master Painter Nelson Shanks at the Art Student’s League of New York. She also stays instep with the newest technological advances in photography.
Her artwork was exhibited at the Phyllis Harriman Mason Gallery in New York, April 6-12th, 2009, by world reknowned Master painter Nelson Shanks. She also studied painting under the Ann E. & Larry Hall Scholarship at Studio Incamminati in 2009.
Carmen received the International Society of Photographers,
Photographer of Merit Award in 2008.

Carmen is a Founding Member of “Mastery for Women,” where she is an advocate for the economic and professional development of women

an organization renowned for its expertise, ethics, and ideals and is an
organization which is dedicated to advancing this profession into the rapidly changing 21st century.
Carmen is also an actress, a singer and a public speaker and motivator. She hosts the New York Pod Cafe Channel an internet based radio program. A writer she authors various internet blogs and is currently in the planning stages of authoring a self help book, dedicated to young people who have aspirations to pursue careers in the fine arts, art photography and podcasting. She resides in New York City with her husband Ira, a pianist, arranger, composer and a professor of music.
